Designer turned developer. Building things I love.
I started my creative journey as a graphic designer and illustrator. For years, I believed art was my calling. There's something magical about creating visuals that communicate ideas, evoke emotions, and bring concepts to life. I spent countless hours perfecting my craft, working on illustrations, brand designs, and visual projects.
But as time went on, I started feeling curious about other creative outlets. I wanted to build things that people could interact with, not just look at.
In mid-2024, I decided to try something completely different: coding. I had no idea what to expect. I thought it would be confusing, frustrating, and maybe not for me. But something unexpected happened.
I started enjoying it. Really enjoying it.
The more I learned, the more I wanted to build. What started as curiosity became a passion. I found myself staying up late working on projects, excited to solve problems, and thrilled every time I shipped something new. My design background gave me an eye for aesthetics, and coding gave me the power to bring those designs to life.
Fast forward to today, and I've built multiple projects - from memory apps to learning platforms to website templates. Each project taught me something new, and each one pushed me to become a better developer.
This website, Phoebeology.app, is both my portfolio and a place where I sell website templates for small businesses. I believe everyone deserves a beautiful website without monthly fees draining their budget.
The name Phoebeology is inspired by my girlfriend, Phoebe. When I started this journey, I wanted a name that meant something to me. Something personal. Something that would remind me why I'm doing this.
I love her a lot, and I wanted her to always be a part of what I make. So I kept the name. Every project I build, every template I create, every line of code I write - she's there with me.
That's the story behind the name. It's not just a brand - it's a reminder of what matters most.
Whether you need a custom website, want to collaborate on a project, or just want to say hi - I'd love to hear from you.
